In an effort to inspire cultural awareness and promote local economic opportunities, Brother Anthony V. Ybarra (Eta Beta '99) has founded the San Diego Italian-American Chamber of Commerce. It has been his vision to form a networking group of Italian-American professionals who can promote their goods and services while helping preserve the Italian culture.

Brother Ybarra, already a member of Sons of Italy, has been working on forming this chamber over the past three years and looks forward to seeing a rejuvenation of both Italian based business and culture, similar to those seen in Little Italy. The SDIACC will also award college scholarships to students from the Greater San Diego area and offer internship opportunities to both high school and college students.

For more information on the SDIACC or how to become a member, please call (760) 635-9298 or visit www.sdiacc.com
